I never realized how difficult it was to sit back and watch your child, waiting for them to make decisions. It is so stressful. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. It is a hard lesson to learn as a parent. Sometimes just waiting is exhausting and a little comfort food can help ease the stress. What is better than a chocolate cream pie! I'll add the recipe tonight.

Amen Sister!! If only they came with a handbook. How to raise well adjusted happy kids for idiots??
ReplyDeleteAmazing pie!!!!!!
I think for me, it's waiting for the moment when they will refrain from making impulsive decisions! I will need a slice of that delish pie and a glass of wine.
ReplyDeleteThanks foodie! It was a delish pie. A handbook would have been really nice.
ReplyDeleteMichelle: I have the perfect wine to go with chocolate. It is a dessert wine, chocolate infused, red wine. It is called Noche by (I'm pretty sure) Cooper Vinyards. I had some with my pie:)
My gosh, that pie is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elizabeth!
